By accessing or using TripSplit (accessible at https://trip.dmautomotive.in/), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue using our services.
TripSplit provides an offline-first, decentralized tool designed to assist users in tracking, allocating, and calculating balances for group travel expenses. TripSplit does not store banking credentials, handle monetary transactions directly, or act as a financial payment gateway.
Trips created on TripSplit are protected by a 6-digit passcode defined by the trip creator. Users are responsible for sharing passcodes only with authorized group members. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your trip passcode.
Settlement deep-links (such as Indian UPI payment links) generated by TripSplit direct users to third-party payment applications (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM). TripSplit is not liable for failed transfers, bank delays, incorrect account details, or disputes arising between trip participants.
TripSplit saves trip details locally on your device for seamless offline usability when traveling. Clearing your web browser history or website storage may remove unsynced local data. We encourage users to connect online periodically to sync group records.
TripSplit and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from calculation errors, data loss, network outages, or improper use of the service.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
